None of Mission Africa’s personnel working in Nigeria, Chad, Burkina Faso and Kenya could do so without the prayers of committed supporters back home.
We have many groups of people in Mission Africa across the UK who are committed to praying faithfully for our missionaries. Our prayer partners are a vital part of the team, enabling each missionary to do what God has called them to do in the place that he has called them to.
Each month we send out a comprehensive prayer update with news from our missionaries and ministries, by post and email. We also organise special prayer days throughout the year.

Ana asks for prayer that she would wisely balance online teaching as she seeks to vary her experience of teaching with different teaching sites, her work at her sending church and her continuing development of French children’s material for Burkina Faso. Pray for the opportunity for Rebecca to share more of her faith with two friends from the hospital (Kevin and Michael) who were brought up in a Christian family but no longer attend church or have a Christian faith.

Remember the work being put into revamping the ACTS website by Pamela and her Management colleagues.

Give thanks that an England Prayer Group has started. This group will meet via zoom at 3:30PM on the first Thursday of each month. Pray that this time will be a time of blessing and numbers will grow over the months to come. If you are interested, please contact us or Jeremy Nash for details.

29th April
Many African nations are reporting increased COVID19 infection and death rates. We ask that you also continue in prayer for Africa, as it responds to COVID-19. Pray for access to vaccinations; give thanks to God for those pharmaceutical companies and governments that are supplying vaccines for free . Pray for good leadership, and wisdom managing the latest, more contagious, strains of the virus. Pray for those in charge of vaccination logistics in countries that are vast in size and population but have only very few medical workers. Pray for medical staff and other key workers — that God would provide them with strength, as they continue to battle the virus in 2021.
